my purpose ..

At the beginning, my purpose of taking ceramics course was trying to find a way to make people recognize my works of art and agree my point of views. However, I have been changing my purpose since last year. During these three years, I have been knowing myself more and more than hoping people recognize my works of art. Being an artist is literately different from being a designer. In these three years, when I am learning ceramic skills, I am also realizing what kind of person I am. The ceramic material is all the same. The ceramic tools are all the same. What make ceramic art works different or special is all depended on the perspective of the creator because everyone is unique in the world.

Not only can I learn the skill at Art School, but I also know myself more. Even though I know myself a little bit more than before I had studies at Art School, I still have a lot of questions in my mind. For instance, who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? Do I really exist? I know the only way to find out all these answers are from studying and observing my environment, people and things enclosing around me. It is because people are interacting with each other. My belief, my country, my parents, my school, my teachers, my community or my friends can influence my point of view and my own value.
